Papoose – The Beginning Papoose is back with his latest single, “The Beginning.” Papoose has made it clear that he that values bars over bullshit. He isn’t into all the other glitz and glamour associated with hip hop, he’s more concerned with hip hop itself. Today, he comes through with a reminder of hip hop’s core with “The Beginning.” Papoose is back with his latest single, “The Beginning” which serves as a precursor for an upcoming project from the Brooklyn native. The rapper takes on Black Moon’s “I Got Cha Opin” and of course, he does the beat justice. With slick wordplay and a fluid flow, Papoose gives us a play by play of his early life, prior to the fame as well as his recollection of hip hop when he first fell in love with it. He goes on to call out mumble rappers and anybody faking their street credibility.
Earlier in the year, rumors sparked that he had penned a deal with Rick Ross’ MMG. There’s yet to be a confirmation to that rumor but if it’s true, hopefully we get another collab between the two. Quotable Lyrics You mumble rappers ain’t pay your dues, pay admission If you ain’t got it, just pay half, I’ll pay the difference Gun game, they playin’ nice, I play it wicked Niggas know I stay with the Smith like Jada Pinkett.
